In this edition of Celebrity Beauties, we will have a look at the lovely Stephanie Okereke. This Beauty is a regular fixture in the Nigerian movie industry, also known as Nollywood.

Like any good Nigerian, I’ve seen countless Nollywood movies. Despite certain –ahem– cinematic setbacks, they’re quite addictive. Plus, they’re so cheap! Whether it be here, in Nigeria or somewhere in between, some relative usually manages to put a Nollywood film on for everyone to be entertained by.

Anyway, Stephanie has always stood out to us as one of the most strikingly beautiful faces to grace the screen. Her deep skin tone reminds us why brown is beautiful. We love the sheer lip and the sleek curls she’s sporting in this photo. And, her skin is oh-so-radiant!

Simply put, she’s just so pretty! We’re itching to see what her next project is all about and you should be too.

This serum rocks.

And, despite learning about why I need a serum in my life here, here and here over at the oh-so-fab Mischo Beauty, I confess to still forgetting to work them into my skin care routine – doh!

Well, La Mer’s Regenerating Serum ($250) has definitely helped me get on the serum bandwagon.

What enticed me the most were the Marine Peptide Ferment and the Regenerating Ferment, which help boost collagen production, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and assist in the skin’s renewal. My first impression was how silky smooth it applied to my skin. Some serums can leave your skin feeling damp for a few minutes while they soak in, but this one absorbs über-quickly. I’ve been great about applying it most days (yeah, I’m still slacking a little!) and my skin looks pretty hot.

Yes, yes, it’s pricey, but you really only need a few drops. Your skin will thank you.

My face has been very happy these past few weeks.

And, among other things, I’ve got Clarins’ Multi-Active Day crème ($55) to thank for it! I got a ton of compliments on my skin at a press event this week (thanks, DE of Beauty Logic and the lovely ladies of Mom Trends) so I’m not just tooting my own horn here! ☺

Designed for the Multi-Active woman , this crème is thick, rich and goes on oh-so-smoothly. Some thicker moisturizers formulated for dry skin can be as thick as spackle and just as hard to smooth into your face, which, by the way is no fun! This also contains yummy antioxidants and light-reflecting pigments that’ll really get your skin radiating…

Say the good folks at Clarins, “the Multi-Active woman’s skin is affected by age, stress and the environment, which cause skin to appear tired with early wrinkles and a dull complexion.” In other words, if you’re in your 30’s or late 20’s this stuff is for you.

For all you cold-weather Beauties, this crème is a really great winter moisturizer. My skin is borderline dry, so this really helps me keep that deliciously dewy and moisturized look in the face of central heating and winter winds.

My only gripe is that it doesn’t contain SPF, but I’ve just been layering it with the SPF 15 version ($55) —Problem solved

Sooo…all my lovely Twitter followers know how excited I got about seeing Kimora billboards in midtown today but aren’t we all so excited about the new season of Life in the Fab Lane starting March 21st?!

She’s so over the top! I can’t help but smile and feel a little better when she comes on.  And, best of all, she loves her babies and won’t hesitate to let us know time and time again. Love it!
