Ahh, the joy of gift cards

I recently babysat a little pug named Lucca for a week. He’s my co-worker’s pooch and she graciously surprised me with a Sephora gift card as payment (thanks again, Alyssa!)

I go to Sephora a lot but I don’t really buy stuff there all the time. However, I’m perfectly content to glide thru the aisles and play around with all the makeup and sniff all the perfumes. I definitely leave satisfied since you can sample everything…

Why must I cry?

Ever since Bath & Body Works discontinued the love of my life , I’ve been frantically trying to buy every remaining bottle in existence.

Scrounging on eBay for random leftovers got tiring (and expensive) so I eventually had to take the plunge and delve back into the market for a comparable body scrub.

Ohhh, how I love soap!

I just think it’s so great! All the smells and shapes! How nice, clean and lightly fragrant you are after using them! Yesss!

I definitely sniff soap packages in the drugstore for a really long time before deciding on which one to buy…

Don’t sleep on body oils, Beauties!

Once upon a time, my mom had a bottle of this that I used and liked, so when the lotion that I carry to the gym ran out, I ran and got a trial size of this stuff.

Palmer’s Moisturizing Body Oil has a really nice scent to it – kind of cocoa-y and a teeny bit spicy. I definitely looked forward to going to the gym when it meant I’d get to oil myself up after I showered…

Hi Beauties!

After a crummy day a few weeks ago, I decided that the best thing to do was to treat myself to a little bit of luxury. And, boy am I glad I did!

Naturally, I headed straight to Sephora and made some fun purchases, that included an Original Soap by Fresh in the Mangosteen scent.

I received some Fresh Petit Soaps for X-Mas ( click here for my review ) and they were just so scrumptious (Thanks, again Nana-lita!). So, I knew this would be a good one!

Always a good sport when it comes to body lotions, I couldn’t help but pick up a tube of Jergens new Shea Butter Cream when I spotted it in the drugstore a couple months back.

The first thing I noticed is how thick this stuff is!

My life would be quite itchy and uncomfortable without lotion, so I didn’t mind its thick consistency, but some of you lotion-averse Beauties might shy away from this product. You definitely have to work it in your hands before you smooth it on.

The moisture that this lotion provides is its best quality. You’d be hard pressed to end up ashy or dry at the end of the day if you put this stuff on. Surprisingly, this cream is formulated with a respectable percentage of shea butter. It’s the second ingredient and not the second to last, like some other shea butter products, that shall remain unnamed…

Who knew that baby oil could be so dreamy?

My feet really love Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula.

I learned the hard way that regular body lotion is not enough to keep my feet moisturized. They used to get embarrassingly dry as the day wore on, especially during the cold winter months. Not a good look, people!
