Hi dolls,
Now, be honest…
“Natural” toothpastes are __________
- Scary
- Not worth the risk, my breath has GOT to be fresh!
- Don’t give me that deep clean
- Effective
- a, b and c!
I remember trying a natural toothpaste a few years ago and I just didn’t love it. I guess I’ve been conditioned by years of mass-market toothpaste use. But, I recently got the opportunity to test out Natural Reflection by Dentisse ($17, dentisse.com), a new clay-based toothpaste and I have to say that “natural” ain’t so bad after all…

Great news, guys!
There’s a new addition to The Hive over at Burt’s Bees.
I’ve had spotty experiences with other natural toothpaste lines and, like many of us, I’ve been socialized to equate spicy, minty freshness with a clean mouth. But Burt’s Bees Natural Care Toothpaste ($5) may have brought me back over to the more natural side of things.
First of all, this toothpaste boasts no sulfates, artificial colors, artificial sweeteners, parabens, pthalates or petrochemicals of any kind. It also features cranberry extract, a natural anti-plaque agent and you get to choose whether or not you’d like your paste with or without added fluoride…

It seems I’ve revised my opinion about gel toothpastes!
As you might all remember from the post about my favorite toothpaste, me and gel toothpastes aren’t the best of friends. Although I still prefer pastes (they’re thick and hearty and just leave my teeth feeling oh-so-clean) after being forced to use this product, I have a newfound respect for gels.

I hope you’ve all been flossing regularly, Beauties! And, yes, I mean you!
If not, maybe this review will be the jumpstart that you need!
I always feel so accomplished after I’m done flossing! You have no idea how much I dislike the act, but it’s soooo necessary. It’s always great when the dentist notices, too!
Anyhoo, Reach’s Easy Slide Mint Floss is a pretty darn good product. It gets in between all my pearly whites and doesn’t start shredding and disintegrating along the way like some other flosses can. Plus, this floss has a nice minty kick to it…

I love, Love, LOVE when a new goody bag arrives in the mail
Many thanks to the marvelous Melle and talented Teresa on Listerine’s promo team for sending me these snazzy new whitening strips to review!
Teeth whitening strips have become all the rage these days and a lot of the at home systems really do work. That holds true for Listerine’s new Quick Dissolving Whitening Strips.

Hooray for store brands!
Beauties, in case you didn’t know, drugstore brand toothbrushes are where it’s at! They’re cheap, cheap, cheap and they work just as well as the name brand ones that are sometimes twice the price!
I admit that I can be a brand snob at times, but

Hi Beauties!
That upcoming dentist appointment of mine has got me in a festive, oral hygiene-themed mood
Flossing is annoying, but is sooooo important! I try for more times a week than not, which has been enough to keep me from getting any new cavities for a few years now…
