Soooo. . .
My hair is in desperate need of a trim. (see Exhibit A )
My home trims are somewhat on the haphazard side but they get the job done.
I have not done one in a while (obviously!) since I’ve been more focused on protection and moisture, but I must do one in the near future. . .

Dear MsTanish1,
Your hair is still so amazing. Thank you kindly for posting your weekly hair routine!
So many great (and affordable!) ideas.
However, I realize that I am much less motivated than you are and would be lucky if I did your *full* routine once every 6 weeks (doh!) The concoction that you mix to twist your hair sounds amazing. Must try it out, but… only if someone else mixes it up for me

Ah well, Beauty Pies, I want to hear from you…
Do you have an extensive weekly haircare routine? Also, do you ever mix your own hair products?

So you’ve decided to seek hair help from a professional, but where do you begin?! Have no fear, Beauty 365 is here! Check out my 5 tips for selecting a natural hairstylist below…

1. Determine your needs – what do you want done?
Sounds straightforward, right? But, there can be lots of choices when it comes to natural hairstyles. Afro, twists, braids, blowout, etc. It always helps to have a picture of what you are looking for, but if not make sure you have the description down pat.
2. Set your budget – factor in extras!
That lavish deep conditioning treatment that you got talked into can run you a pretty penny…

Howdy Beauties,
I’m back!
And, I have a major hair crush.
Check out MsTanish1’s lovely mane in this video clip, which incidentally has nothing to do with hair. I soooo admire the full, fluffy volume she’s got going on and I totally heart the side puff style she’s got it in.

You can check out her YouTube page here and peruse her informative library of hair tutorial vids.
As for me, I’ve got tons of life updates and, of course, fun stuff planned for the blog. So, be sure to stay tuned…

Hmm…
I’ve been in a “hair mood” these days, so I’ve taken a particular interest in checking out the hair videos on YT. This segment from an episode of The View came up in my search results and I must confess that it made me kinda sad. So many struggles and labels and stigmas are attached to this stuff that grows out of our heads.
Why can’t hair just be hair?

Anyhoo, let me know what you guys think about the clip!

Well, lookie here!
Doesn’t Autumn of the CurlyChronicles have such a lovely head of hair?
In this video, Autumn basically loosens the braids she’d put in her hair while it was damp (I think) and went to sleep with. The result is a really fun and crinkly style that looks great!
I’ve been particularly bored with my hair lately, so maybe I’ll give this style a shot soon…not quite sure how it will turn out though…lol.
Anyhoo…enjoy the clip, it’s about 4 minutes!
