So, if you’ve been following my Beautiful Ruminations off to the right, you’ll know that I had a mole on my foot that I noticed looked a little different a little over a month ago.
It had gotten a bit darker and changed shape a teeny bit, which kind of freaked me out. So, I go to the (super cute!) dermatologist to have it looked at and to have total body mole check done (May was Skin Cancer Awareness Month , after all…

Not surprisingly, dairy still doesn’t like me …
But, I’ve discovered a new secret weapon against my pesky lactose intolerance.
I went with the store brand in this case because lactase enzyme pills are really expensive for no reason. This bottle of 125 pills was 20 bucks, but I’m not bitter, because they really make such a difference!
As with any lactase enzyme pill, Rite Aid Fast Acting Dairy Relief Pills should be taken with the first bite of dairy so as to prevent the unpleasant symptoms that come with lactose intolerance…

What was life like before the personal cleansing wipe?!
I’m addicted to these things and I have a pack in every purse and at my desk. They’re grrrreeeaaat!
Ok, so, without getting too graphic, these are basically little pre-moistened wipes that just make each trip to the bathroom that much more exciting…

I’m in such a YouTube mood these days…
On another tangent, I went to the gym 3 times this week! Sadly, I’m still sore…but, hopefully this clip will motivate me (and you!) to go to the gym again tomorrow…
Check it out, Beauties!

Being sick stinks.
It really does. It makes you do things like doze off with the lights on and forget to post your blog entry until 4 o’clock in the morning
But, one of the few things that I’ve actually liked about getting sick every so often these past couple of years (don’t worry, people, I’m going somewhere with this!) is Theraflu…

Dearest Beauty Pies,
Yours truly has been temporarily decommissioned by a terrible flu/cold/crappy/illness.
Ugh.
To the point of calling in sick today, which virtually never happens…
One of my many symptoms are some wicked chest congestion and a pesky cough, so when I groggily stumbled into Rite Aid a couple days ago in search of a cure and saw the little Buckley’s Chest Congestion bottle, I swear it started glinting and gleaming right there on that shelf!
Or, maybe I was just feverish and mildly hallucinating…

Maybe if I post a video about exercise, I will be inspired to go jogging in the morning…
That’s the plan at least!

I love dairy, but dairy does not love me back
In short, most types of foods that contain dairy leave me with unpleasant side effects, that I’d rather not detail on this glamorous website
I became lactose intolerant about 10 years ago and, no, I’m not crazy, WebMd even says that it’s really common for symptoms to develop during teen or adult years. Needless to say, it really sucks…
