I was half surprised, half not when I saw this video. Sadly, it didn’t surprise me that the black hair industry is dominated by non-blacks. It’s the extent of the domination that really got me. As one YouTube-r so eloquently put it:
“No one is saying it is the Koreans fault. It is our fault for letting them set up in our neighborhoods and patronizing their businesses. Random, but I’ve gotten really into this Colombian telenovela called “Sin Senos No Hay Paraíso,” which translates to “Without Breasts There Is No Paradise.” Ummm…yeah…it’s pretty scandalous and oh-so-entertaining. I’m actually half watching it right now. What a fun way to practice my Spanish!
