Staying beautiful is hard work, but it doesn’t always have to cost you and arm and a leg.

In an effort to save money, I frequent the beauty section of Walmart and stop into Harmon’s beauty discount store often. I’ve even concocted mayonnaise hair masks and sugar and olive oil body scrubs at home. However while browsing in Harmon’s the other day I ran across a natural facial scrub from Queen Helene. I tried their mint masks in high school and was never disappointed, so I decided to give their face scrub a try…

I wouldn’t go so far as to say that Apricot Scrub saved my life, but during my first weeks as a mother, sometimes it felt that way. When we came home from the hospital, I found myself suddenly clinging to parts of my beauty routine that had never seemed all that important before namely flossing and washing my face with Apricot Scrub. They’re pretty similar when you think about it: intense, thorough and a little painful, like tough love or a deep muscle massage. Self-Heating Mask by Bioré

It always feels sooo good to pamper myself.

Even little things like getting my nails done or taking the extra time to try a new mascara or eyeshadow make me feel fab! Needless to say, Bioré’s Self-Heating Mask is right up my alley.

This mask is quick, easy and leaves my skin feeling smooth. Right out of the packet, the clay is a pale sea foam green with little dark blue exfoliating nuggets…

Hi Beauties…

Guess who’s back?! :)

Now, let’s get down to business…

Finally an exfoliator that is not too harsh, not too soft, but just right!

Many of you with sensitive skin like mine have struggled to find a product that effectively polishes your skin without leaving it badly irritated. Well, here it is!

I discovered Cosmedicine’s Self-Adjusting Exfoliator on a yet another lunchtime trip to the Sephora several blocks from my job. The great thing about this exfoliator is that it contains crystals that adjust to target areas needing more attention. The exfoliants also dissolve as you gently massage your face and neck, so you can never overdo it.

After several really bad experiences with exfoliants in the past, I was really hesitant about this one, but…
