How many of you Beauties remember to apply facial care products to both your face and neck?

I know it’s oh-so-easy to forget our neck and décolleté areas, but work on making it a habit!

Our necks need love, too, so as to avoid the sharp contrast in skin health from chin to nape. So, make sure to cleanse, exfoliate and moisturize your neck just as you do your face…your neck will thank you for it : )

As I get further sucked into all things makeup, I start discovering needs I never knew I had!

Ever get kind of grossed out when you’re on the go and need to reapply a lip balm that comes in a tub?

Your lips are parched, but then you think of allllll the places your little fingers have been throughout the day (gripping a subway pole, touching that sketchy doorknob, shaking hands with the client who may not have washed his hands after going to the loo, etc…)

Ok, that was gross. Lol, but you get the picture…

Here’s a quick tip that I mentioned about a year ago, but I feel deserves a post of its own…

Who knew baby shampoo could be so versatile?

Not only can it be used to clean your makeup brushes , but it serves as a gentle face wash as well.

I always seem to forget something whenever I pack and it’s always an adventure to discover what it is each time. On my recent trip to Nigeria, me in all my fabulousness forgot to pack my normal face cleanser – Eeps!

I did, however, remember to pack my travel size baby shampoo that I use to clean my makeup brushes. After frantically searching for my cleanser for wayyy too long (grrrr!), I figured that my baby shampoo would do the trick and I was oh-so-right…

Hooray for store brands!

Beauties, in case you didn’t know, drugstore brand toothbrushes are where it’s at! They’re cheap, cheap, cheap and they work just as well as the name brand ones that are sometimes twice the price!

I admit that I can be a brand snob at times, but

So many cosmetics, so little time!

Yeah, so…I was looking through my makeup collection the other day and I found some pretty archaic stuff lurking in there. I’m kind of embarrassed, but some of my shadows are three and six years old – eeps!

Needless to say, it’s a really good idea to keep tabs of your cosmetics and get rid of the older ones that you may or may not still use…
