Welcome to the latest new feature here on Beauty 365!
As you may have guessed, it’s called What’s In The Bag and features the contents of various bags in various contexts. Different folks will be featured, too.
Fun, right? And, it satisfies that tiny voyeuristic itch that some people (like me!) have about what other people deem important enough to carry around.
First up, yours truly. Yep, me, Ugochi. I’m on vacation (see fabulous bungalow entrance to the right) and as I was packing I thought it would be fun to show you all what beauty and personal care goodies I brought with me.
After the jump, you can see what’s in MY travel bag! So, without further ado…
TADAAA!

Sooo, packing light is obviously not in my DNA, especially when it comes to beauty items. In my haste, I forgot to snap the actual bags (yes, plural) that this stuff travels in. Oh well, next time! For now, you’ll have to settle for a look at the creative hub that is my desk.
Now, let’s begin…

1. Uber-Dry Sunscreen SPF 30 by Peter Thomas Roth – I will essentially be living at the beach while I’m here and this product will be living on my face.
2. Sport Sunscreen SPF 30 by Duane Reade – Sun protection for the rest of my body. Gotta love generics.
3. Mineral Water Atomiser by Evian – Beach essential for keeping refreshed!
4. Mango Body Butter by The Body Shop – Always handy to keep my hands moisturized. Great for the whole body, too.
5. Lipgloss in Butterscotch Drop by L’Oreal – Lovely AFFORDABLE neutral lipgloss.
6. Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser by Philosophy – Came with my BirchBox this month and supposed to be a lovely gentle cleanser. Most importantly, travels very well.
7. Little Plastic Monkey – Did not make the trip, but appears in pics because he lives on my desk and makes me smile.

8. Lip Liner in Beet by MAC – To be worn with Ruby Woo when I feel like a read lip is in order.
9. Eye Definer Felt-Tip Eye Marker by Physicians Formula – Cat eye for dummies! Since I have a liquid liner handicap and all…
10. The Multiple in South Beach by NARS – Lovely portable shimmer machine. Ok, so it’s not a machine, but it highlights and sculpts the heck out of everything.
11. Natural Deodorant Stick in Apricot by Tom’s of Maine – This actually works for me despite its “natural” status. Has a lovely fruity smell, too.
12. Bronzer in Ebony Bronze by Covergirl Queen – L.O.V.E. this drugstore gem. A lovely kiss from the sun an a nice little compact.
13. Old Mascara Wand as Eyebrow Groomer – So handy. You should make one, too!
14. 3 Shadow Palette by Three Custom Color - Aubergine smoky eye, anyone?

15. Retractable Blush Brush by Sephora – Portable chic.
16. Rollerball Fragrances: Susanne Lang Perfume Oil & L by L.A.M.B. – Both light, lovely and portable.
17. Clarisonic Skincare Brush – This is super bulky but my skin loves it.
18. Mascara: Givenchy & Smashbox – I like mascara. Period.
19. Blush: Exhibit A by NARS, Orange (shadow) by MAC & Dahlia(creme) by Becca - I really like blush, too.
.
20. Burnt Sugar Pomade by Oyin – Fantastic product. Using it to tame the edges of my updo.
21. Lippies: Ruby Woo by MAC, Legendary by Smashbox, Lip Treatment (SPF 15) by Smashbox, 3 mini lipsticks by Three Custom Color – I’ve gone gung ho for reds and am loving every minute of it!
As you can see, I like options.
No wonder why my bag was so heavy… I probably won’t end up wearing half of this stuff, but I am prepared for anything! And, that’s the point, right? RIGHT?
Anyhoo, I’ll be on permanent beach-mode after this post, so catch me on Twitter, if anything!
So, what do you think of my Travel Beauty Entourage? What are your travel beauty must-haves?
Later,
xoxo,
Ugochi
