I must confess, I’m a YouTube fanatic.
I study and practice makeup techniques from different YouTube channels, and when my boyfriend asked me what I wanted for my birthday recently I quickly replied, makeup brushes!
I have limited knowledge the makeup tools needed to achieve a professional look, so I reached out to a sales rep at Sephora. She asked me my price range (not too cheap but not too expensive) and quickly shuffled me over to the Sephora I.T. brand of brushes…
Launched about three months ago, these brushes were designed with the professional makeup artist in mind. They were created by French engineer, Phillippe di Meo, who worked hard to ensure that precise coverage of product would be achieved.

Right away the brushes are aesthetically pleasing, and come in color-coded metallic shades (blues and purples for your eyes, and pink for the face). The bristles are made of sable which makes it easier to transfer powder to your skin. My favorite is the Medium Shader Brush ($20), which is great for applying eye shadow dry or wet. The application is perfect every time and even reaches my lash line, which I always had a problem with before.
The bottom tip of the brush is made out of antibacterial material, which works to pick up product without having to use your fingers. Something that really separates the I.T. Brush Collection from the competition are the flat-bottomed snap caps that come with each brush. These caps allow you to store your brushes standing upward without a container and also make these brushes great for travel or to throw in your purse. These brushes are priced from $14 to $40.
All in all, the collection of Sephora I.T. brushes are well worth the price, and are an absolute staple in any Beauty’s makeup collection.
Stay Beautiful
