Ahhh, the joys of getting a pedicure…
At home?!
Yes, yes – I admit— I hate doing my nails myself and I hate doing my nails at home. There’s just something about the salon (or spa!) experience and expertise that I just adore.
However…
I recently became a grad student and that whole “not having an income” thing is vaguely starting to concern me. So, while I don’t feel particularly “recessed” (get it…recession, recessed…) I have been trying to do little things here and there to save $ and resemble a frugal individual…
An affordable yet pleasantly luxurious addition to my fledgling home pedicure kit is the Watermelon & Balm Mint Foot Scrub ($3) by Montagne Jeunesse.
It’s minty (think: refreshing), melon-y (think: sweet watermelons) and it scrubs your feet real good! It’s also antibacterial, so if your feet get on the ripe side, this can definitely assist you with your deodorization efforts (lol!)
My only complaint is that I have to hunch over and do the scrubbing myself…
Ah well, we’ll see how long I can stay away from the nail salon!
Stay Beautiful
