Guest Beauty: Feed Your Lashes

By: Aina Fadina for Beauty 365

Long, thick and full eyelashes are something we all wish for.

I have long lashes, however they aren’t full and luscious. I’ve tried several different lash-enhancing products, but didn’t quite get the results I’d hoped for. Anyway, enough about me wanting things God did not give me naturally…

LashFood ($120) is an eyelash conditioner featuring a natural formula of biotin, arginine and iris extract, that is supposed to make your lashes longer and stronger in about 2-4 weeks. It comes in a mascara-like container so it’s a breeze to apply.

I was more than a little skeptical about using this product. Aside from my contact lenses, I don’t like putting things in my eyelid/eyelash area, but I decided to give it a go. I used LashFood for a week on my lashes and brows and saw a little bit of a difference in growth and thickness. Also, I have no irritation or redness to report after using it.

I usually have to apply mascara a few times to have a full and voluminous look, however while using LashFood I didn’t need to apply mascara over and over again. Also, after that first week, I got a few compliments on my lashes, which I didn’t expect. Overall I am quite happy with the results and will definitely continue using this product.

Holy cow it’s expensive! I wonder if there are any good “like as” products out there for cheaper.. ?-)

well, there are more inexpensive lash conditioners (like Mavala Eye Lite, which I like) but i feel like many are quite costly :-/
