Drugstore innovation is always so exciting! Plus, it’s comforting to know that their claims are backed by years of legit research.
I had a great experience with L’Oreal’s Skin Genesis so, needless to say, I was fantastically excited to try out Olay’s new Pro-X Anti-Aging Protocol ($70). This system contains three components: an SPF 30 lotion for day, an anti-wrinkle cream for night and an eye cream for both.
Like a good beauty nut, I used the products as directed. No complaints with the anti-wrinkle night cream, but the eye cream – ehhh, a lot of it got in my eyes while I slept, but (to be fair) that’s what usually happens with me and eye creams! Then, morning came and I used the SPF 30 day cream with the eye complex and that’s where I ran into problemas. My face itched to the high heavens –all day! Egad!
Not sure what’s up with that…but my skin is randomly sensitive. Anyhoo, this stuff is cheap in the grand scheme of skin care, but a $70 price tag in the drugstore can be quite daunting. But, don’t fret, like any drugstore item, you can always return it if you don’t like it!
