No longer are bright and dazzling smiles exclusive to celebrities and models. In fact, sparkling white teeth are practically a must-have today’s society!

My teeth are pretty white, however I drink 3-4 cups of tea a day, so a little maintenance in between trips to the dentist didn’t seem like a bad idea. So, I was excited to get the opportunity to try out Crest’s Advanced Seal White Strips and see how well they worked.

Crest’s Advanced Seal White Strips promise to do everything the regular White Strips do, but with easier application, a stronger grip, cleaner removal and once daily usage (you have to use the regular ones twice daily). This product also comes with both the lower and upper strip in one packet, which I thought was neat.

The grip on these whitening strips is strong, making it easier to talk and drink while they are in your mouth. I recommend putting them on during what I call “me time of the day.” This is that special time when you are getting ready for the day without any interruptions. My “me time” process is about 45 minutes, which works out perfectly. Ideally, you can put these strips on before your shower, this way they can work while you are showering, lotioning up, figuring out what to wear, and doing your make-up.

I saw good results after the first use, however these strips were a PAIN to take off because the grip is so strong. Yes, the strips stayed in place during a phone conversation, but it felt like I was going to rip my teeth out when trying to take them off. The hold was just too strong for me.

I would definitely recommend this product for a regular coffee/tea drinker on a recessionista’s budget. They really work. However, you’d be better off using the regular, twice-daily Crest White Strips if you are just looking for maintenance.

Any way you slice it, using White Strips is much more affordable than going to your dentist for professional whitening. So, if you’d like whiter teeth for a fraction of the cost, check this product out.
