Hello dear readers,
My time away was much needed and fabulous! Here’s a quick post with some trip highlights…Hope you enjoy!
Since I ran out of vacation days last December, I couldn’t wait to take a week off in January. First stop was Phoenix to visit my Uncle and his fam. I hadn’t seen them in ages and had been promising to visit for sooooo long.
Here is a pic of the three little balls of energy that I call my cousins on our hike (yes, I was hiking in the Arizona wilderness…well, sort of, lol)
And here is some cactus action we saw on our little outing…
Good thing we didn’t run into any of the local wildlife (i.e. – coyotes, wild pigs and all kinds of snakes)
After a couple days, and a yucky stomach virus, it was beach time so my friend Stephanee and I hopped on a plane for the 4 hour flight to sunny Antigua! We stayed at the St James’s Club, which was filled with rich old British people, lol.
But, of course, Steph and I are a walking party, so in addition to having an absolute blast we:
Swam…
Drank…
Visited cool places like English Harbour…
Had loads of fun on a speed boat with the best captain and first mate on the island ; )
And enjoyed some amazing scenery.
Of course we went out at night, but this post already has too many pics. Suffice it to say, we had mad fun!
I’m slowly attempting to adjust to the 20-something degree weather here in NYC – 85 degrees and sunny, I miss you!!
Ah well, there is lots of exciting travel in my future, so stay tuned!

I’m a huge traveler too. Just left D.C. and off to LA next month. I just can’t stay still. Have a wonderful Tuesday, sis!

travel is so fun — there’s so much out there to be explored. my next stop could be Montreal for a ski vacay (gotta hit the slopes!)
