Umm…I got way too excited when I spotted this product in the drugstore a few months ago. I thought my dreams had come true and the mighty oil cleanser had hit the mass market!
My Shu cleanser ran out (boo hoo!) and I’ve been fighting the urge to splurge on a new bottle, so I thought this was my big chance…
But, alas, St. Ives Elements Olive Cleanser only has a smidge of olive oil and is more or less a foaming facial cleanser. Which is fine, but I’ve been spoiled by oil
I did like it though, because it doesn’t strip my face bone dry like some foaming cleansers can. Plus, it contains antioxidants and smells nice and fruity.
Hmm…this review has some rhyme to it, lol. Unintentional, I swear!
Anyone try this out? Anyone else obsessed with Shu Uemura oil cleansers? Leave a comment and let me know!

I am of course obsessed with the Shu oil cleanser! If you find a cheap alternative, please let me know! Though I think the bottle is a luxury worth indulging in
. Love the new updates!
i have the TISS one, which is pretty good.
i think i need to start writing companies to bring oil cleansers to the mass market!
man, i really want more…
hmmm…never heard of TISS. where’d you get it?
St. Ives has some great formulas! You know none of them are Swiss made, right? They’re all made in Chicago! Oh how they fool us… oh well!
