While my sister has nice smooth skin on her backside, I was blessed with skin that resembles an orange peel. ☺ (Ok, it’s not that bad.) So when she asked me to test the NIVEA Good-Bye Cellulite program, I was more than happy to. The system consists of three products: NIVEA Good-bye Cellulite Gel-Cream, NIVEA Good-bye Cellulite Patches, and Dietary Supplement Capsules.

NIVEA claims that the system “visibly reduces the appearance of cellulite in just four weeks.” I wanted to test this claim so I used the Gel-Cream and the Patches on one cheek and compared it to the other. I used the products according to the instructions. The Gel-Cream is a bluish-clear gel with a texture similar to gel toothpaste but slightly runnier. It was slightly tingly to my skin the first few times I used it. However, with continued use, the sensation went away. The Patches have a tacky gel-like substance (with a consistency similar to Jell-O), which you place on targeted areas. I used the Patches every three days overnight. I put it on after using the Gel-Cream.

After the first week of use, my skin felt smoother. After three weeks, I could see a marked difference. The dimpling on the side I used the products on was more filled in than the other side. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has an issue with cellulite.
