NARS Blushes are amazing!
The pigments are so rich and full and the powder is so finely milled that they blend really easily. Yum!
I wanted the Taj Mahal shade in particular for sooooooo long, but I just couldn’t justify the $25 price tag for another orange-y blush. My combination of MAC’s Orange eyeshadow and MAC’s Golden Bronze Iridescent Loose Powder was a bit more work, as far as blending goes, but achieved the same stellar results…
But, the universe must have wanted me to get my hands on it, ‘cause by buddy Nana-lita just happened to have one she didn’t want anymore! It had broken, so I just took it to Sephora for a quick exchange and voila!
This blush looks soooo pretty on brown skin, and you might never believe it by looking in the container. As with most NARS blushes, Taj Mahal looks pretty bright in the package, but all little dab and some decent blending will have you looking like a superstar.
Taj Mahal is a slightly burnt orange with a teeny hint of shimmer that looks absolutely stunning on dark brown skin. You’ll need so little that I guarantee you, this will last you (close to) FOREVER!
So, if you are hesitant about the price tag, I understand, I was too, but NARS blushes are actually worth it when you think about how little you’ll be using each time…
Consider it an investment!
As always let me know if you’ve tried this and what you thought!
