Ever get kind of grossed out when you’re on the go and need to reapply a lip balm that comes in a tub?
Your lips are parched, but then you think of allllll the places your little fingers have been throughout the day (gripping a subway pole, touching that sketchy doorknob, shaking hands with the client who may not have washed his hands after going to the loo, etc…)
Ok, that was gross. Lol, but you get the picture…
Well, I do think of these things at times, which is why I sometimes apply my beloved Balmy Nights (I’ll never stop calling it that!) or Blistex with my knuckle instead of my finger tip.

I have absolutely no scientific finding to link here (in fact, I had to take a pic of my own finger for today’s visual of what I am talking about – that’s BJ in the background, by the way!) It just makes sense to me that my knuckle comes into much less direct contact with general crap that I don’t want on my lips, than my hands and palms would…
It can be a bit awkward, but in the least it gives me peace of mind…
Ah well, let me know if I am the only person who actually does this!
Until tomorrow…
Stay Beautiful
