The goodie bag continues!

Max Factor’s MaxWear is a 2-in-1 intense color base coat plus color sealing (and shine enhancing) top coat lip color…

Chartreuse Blend’s intense color side is a deeeeeeeep, rich burgundy wine red that actually applies like a gloss. The shine enhancing sealant end is a sparkly green that looks scarier in the package, but goes on rather sheer and clear (much like MAC’s LipGlass in super-sheer green, Squirt, which I think is discontinued.) I might actually wear this on it’s own or on top of another color now that I think about it…

If this product did one thing, it reminded me that that this fall’s super red lip trend does not work on me! I just have not been able to find a deep red that looks normal on me. Boo hoo! I’m more into sheer, shiny bronze-y or slightly peachy glosses — yummmmm!

Anyhoo, the burgundy end of this lip color does last a really long time, it might even live up to the 8 hours it claims. I had a hard time getting it off after testing it several times, so those of you Beauties that this product does work for will be happy with that part

Beware though, as this stuff got on my teeth when I was testing it (in the confines of my apartment, thank goodness!)

Both colors have a nice and subtle vanilla scent and flavor, which was fun.
