Moisturizing Body Oil by Palmer’s

Don’t sleep on body oils, Beauties!

Once upon a time, my mom had a bottle of this that I used and liked, so when the lotion that I carry to the gym ran out, I ran and got a trial size of this stuff.

Palmer’s Moisturizing Body Oil has a really nice scent to it – kind of cocoa-y and a teeny bit spicy. I definitely looked forward to going to the gym when it meant I’d get to oil myself up after I showered…

I hope that didn’t sound crazy, btw ;)

There’s something really luxurious and sensual about applying body oils for me, even if it is just me applying it myself! ;) They just feel so much more advanced than plain old body lotion!

This particular oil is a clear yellow in color annnnnnd isn’t super drippy or heavy. As a mixture of soybean, sesame seed and safflower oils, it’s lighter than regular baby oil – but it’s still an oil all the same. So, if you’re not open to oils at all, you probably won’t like this.

Palmer’s Moisturizing Body Oil contains vitamin E and cocoa butter, so your skin is left super supple and conditioned – even more so if you leave your skin a teeny bit damp after you shower.

My 1.7 oz trial size was like a dollar, but a full 8.5 oz size isn’t too costly at a little under 6 bucks.

I can’t remember the last time I took a full out bath in a tub, but according to the folks at Palmer’s, a few drops of this oil in the bath is a real treat.

Let me know if you’ve given that or this product a shot at all.

Until tomorrow!

Stay beautiful!

Hi! I used to use Johnson’s Baby Oil immediately post-shower, just before toweling. A few drops were enough to completely moisturize my whole body, and it left my skin so very soft. Unfortunately, it also made the tub surface a little too slick, so I had to give up that routine for fear of slipping and hurting myself.

On the other hand, I was just thinking that perhaps one of those rubber bath mats might be useful. I might give those a try.

oooh, that sounds fun…except for the slippage part.

that’s like one of my greatest fears! slipping and falling in the shower all by my lonesome!

anyhoo — yeah, a rubber bathmat could do wonders.

    maybe i need one, too!

And I’m not even sure why it would leave the tub slick, since I only use a few drops and immediately rub them on my skin, not leave them dripping all over the bath. Anyhoo, I’m off to Bed Bath & Beyond and/or Tuesday Morning to try my luck there for a fashionable but practical bathmat. (Is there such a thing???)
