I know I’m not the only Beauty that thinks Kimora Lee Simmons is absolutely FAB!
I never realized just how fab she was until I became obsessed with her reality show that debuted this summer. Kimora is outspoken, glamorous, confident, a successful entrepreneur annnnnd a great mom!
All the things I hope to be and more! She’s such an inspiration!

Thanks for your response and post on my blog! Now I’m totally jealous because you have the Style Network and *I* don’t. Long story short, my remote control just won’t do three-digit channels (my local cable provider has Style on 121 or something like that). I need to fix that. Now. Seriously.

I got it! I got it! I couldn’t wait to order from Amazon, so I picked up a copy at my local Borders. Had a 30% off coupon, so it came to about $11. Woo hoo! I probably still came out ahead.
And yeah, I need to get my damn remote fixed. I might just get a new one.
Oh! And you know what’s funny, speaking of KLS’ book? I searched all over Borders and Barnes & Noble — self-improvement, beauty and grooming, even African-American studies. Nada nada nada. Then I had the brilliant idea of checking their computer catalog, and guess where Borders had shelved it? Music/Reference.
We must’ve been watching at the same time. I saw both reruns on E! last night as well while making dinner. My husband doesn’t really know what the fascination is. He thinks she’s “too high maintenance,” but I was like, “Uhm, you think she’s high maintenance? What about your Miss Would-You-Please-Massage-My-Shoulders-For-Two -Hours-Even-Though-You-Worked-All-Day-In-The-Hospital-While-I-Blogged-On-The-Computer-About-Beauty-And-Fashion?” He said I had a point and that, compared to moi, Miss Baby Phat Thang is positively angelic.
Of course, he ends up watching it with me anyway! Can’t help it. She’s just too darn magnetic a personality!
