Remember that “ feeling crummy, so let’s go to Sephora ” mini-spree that resulted in the exquisite Mangosteen soap by Fresh?
Well… I bought a few other things, too
I’d seen and tried DiorShow’s Black Out mascara a few times at Sephora and reeeeeeallly felt I needed it in my life. It puts regular DiorShow Mascara to shame and really makes my eyes pop and stand out!
I’d managed to restrain myself so well for so long, always reminding myself that I already have a million mascaras and another one (high-end no less!) would just be excessive…
Well, that clearly went out the window
Black Out, like the name implies, is extra, super duper black and fabulous. If you thought all black mascara is the same, then think again! Black Out contains lots of extra kohl , a blackening agent used in cosmetics, so it leaves your lashes with a super deep, inky black.
As for the formula itself, it’s a good combination of volume and length – nothing to call home about, though. I like to layer it over my beloved Shiseido to give it an extra kick. The brush is kinda of big, which is an issue for me because my eyelashes aren’t that long (drat!) I’ll have to try it out with another, smaller brush to see how that goes…
On a random note, it doesn’t stink or make my eyes itch like regular DiorShow does, which makes me very happy
It’s also limited edition so if you want it, you better go get it soon!
And, yes, it’s expensive : ( but…
Lol, I have nothing to say in my defense! I just wanted it and that’s that!
Later, Beauties!

You are to blame for my mascara obsession. I have to try this stuff now. I don’t have a Sephora anywhere nearby
so I hope they carry it at Ulta.
