Wild Growth Hair Oil really seemed like it could work miracles. This product makes some really lofty claims and has such a great name. I wanted to believe!
I’ve always wished my hair was longer so I figured this would be right up my alley! Plus, this product is a little hard to find, which added to its allure…
But…to tell you the truth, this stuff didn’t really do much for me.
It’s a mix of olive, jojoba and coconut oils plus some other vitamins and minerals. Color-wise, it’s a clear auburn-y/yellow. So, in that regard, it’s a pretty average oil.
My biggest problem with Wild Growth Oil is the way it smells!
I have NO idea what to compare the scent to — a little “organic” and “earthy”, but not really spicy. However you call it, I really wish it had more of a clean or sweet smell. My nose is sensitive, so…I was kind of annoyed as I used this product.
To add insult to injury, this stuff didn’t make my hair grow any differently
Doh! Back to the drawing board…
If you’ve tried this oil before, lemme know how you would describe the scent and, of course, what you thought otherwise

doh! :-/ another one bites the dust! thanx 4 givin the heads up on wut NOT 2 waste my money on!
I actually really like this oil as a moisturizer. Of course it won’t make your hair grow, but it is really easily absorbed and gives the feel of a cream (rather than the weight/grease of an oil). But, like you said, the smell is so hard to handle that I rarely use it!
I’m glad this stuff works for you!
There’s nothing creamy about this for me!
But, my hair isn’t a fan of straight oil anyway..
And, yeah, the smell is really strong
Agreed; this stuff was/is a disappointment. A stylist recommended it to me saying it does wonders for hair growth. Granted, I didn’t use it consistently (how much oil does one head need in a week), but I noticed nothing notable. I don’t mind the smell, but the stuff is oily as all get out. And yes, I recognize that it is oil, but I’m talking as soon as I squeezed out the tiniest bit, it was racing down my forehead and along my neck. No good.
i hate those oil dribbles! they’re so gross!
