Ok, I was sucked into buying this blush after my Dior makeover at the Macy’s in Herald Square a few months back…

I wasn’t sure about the color, it was nice but it didn’t really knock my socks off. Plus, the lady doing my makeup wasn’t very pleasant and didn’t have the best eye for figuring out what colors worked best on me.

To top it all off, I felt realllllly guilty for spending $30 (yes, you read right) on even more blush.

This story has a happy ending, trust me…

Golden Earth is such a nice and subtle color! I love it for daytime! With a little bronzer underneath it makes my cheeks look rosy and healthy and yummy. This color is sort of rusty with a hint of apricot. There’s not a lot of shimmer to it, so it leaves me looking very low key and polished.

Easy to apply, the powder used to make this blush is very finely ground and oh-so-blendable.

The Dior Blush compact is a bit flimsy, but it comes with a nice big mirror, a monogrammed velvet sleeve and a fancy little application brush made of high quality fibers.

On a random note, I’ve never noticed any scents on my blushes, but this stuff is definitely perfumed. This doesn’t irritate my temperamental skin (thank goodness) but I still found it kind of odd…
