I’m a biiiig fan of the Escada perfume house.
Magnetism and Ibiza Hippie are two of my personal favorites.
Each year for the past several, Escada has come out with a limited edition fragrance that has a fruity, resort feel to it. It seems that year after year, they get less and less complex and smell more and more like a plain grapefruit.
Honestly, they haven’t ever been as great as 2003’s Ibiza Hippie…Oh, the memories!
Island Kiss was 2004’s limited edition scent that I got sucked into buying on a random Sephora visit. It’s sweet, fruity, floral and not terribly complex. Still, I like it during the winter as a daytime fragrance, plus the bottle is kinda cute
. You can read about the specific fragrance notes here.
Since Island Kiss is a limited edition fragrance, it’s a bit harder to find these days, but you can for sure get it on the net.
Let me know if you’ve tried this or any of Escada’s perfumes!

Greetings woman!
Does Escada just bottle all it’s stuff in the same bottle? This picture & your description remind me of Escada’s ‘Pacific Paradise’, which comes in the same bottle, but a different box. Quite lovely, that one. Great scent. For a cheaper alternative, Bath & Bodyworks’ ‘Sensual Amber’ is a close match (gotta love how they abscond w/ the good recipes and sell ‘em in an $11.99 body spray). For a deeper and (far) more expensive alternative, Viktor & Rolf’s ‘Flowerbomb’ is also very similar.
Kudos to you for validating all of us drug-store/beauty supply rummagers!
Greetings!
Yes, it seems like Escada is just selling the same limited-edition perfume year after year after year…shame on them!
i’ve been meaning to go smell FlowerBomb, but i’m in less of a rush now that i know it smells like this stuff
regardless, perfume is so great! i’m really glad that i have a working nose!
