Neutrogena’s Oil-Free Sunblock Lotion SPF 45 is my sunblock of choice for those long days at the beach.
It blends perfectly into my dark brown skin and contains our wonderful little anti-aging and free radical fighting friends, antioxidants.
I use Neutrogena’s Oil-Free Sunblock just on my face and neck, while using another sunscreen for the rest of my body. I’m sure to apply this at least 15 minutes before sun exposure and I reapply every time I come out of the water or every 30 minutes, whichever comes first…
This stuff is less oily than other sunblocks I’ve used, but still leaves my normal-to-oily skin a bit shiny. I’m convinced that the agents that specifically provide the sun protection are the grease culprits. However, I don’t mind much when I’m at the beach, since protecting the skin against sun damage is so very important.
Neutrogena’s Oil-Free SPF 45 is a creamy waterproof lotion that is white in color. The scent is really fresh and citrus-y, which is a big departure from the typical “sunblock smell” that you may be used to.
I like this stuff a lot because it contains the broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection that you should look for in any sunscreen you use at a pretty affordable price.
Requisite SPF Rant – Beauties, if you don’t wear SPF every day, at least wear it if you go to the beach or are out in the sun for extended periods of time! Your skin will thank you!
