I was surfing on (you guessed it) YouTube and I found a cool tutorial on how to do a smoky eye by a professional makeup artist in Canada…
The smoky eye look is sooooo dramatic! I’ve always shied away from it and tended towards more jewel-toned shadows and pencils because I reallly love a colorful eye. But this simple and straightforward clip has inspired me to head to the dark side!

okay…im back and as promised, i gave this a try tonite. i must say that this was just as quick and easy as it looked in the clip! AND it actually looks pretty good! – sure, i could use some more practice but this is definitely a great starting point!
