On yet another Sephora excursion I came to the conclusion that I needed a new daytime fragrance. I tend towards spicy, sensuous and musky fragrances that are really more nighttime appropriate, like Magnetism by Escada & Prada’s signature fragrance…

After spending about 45 minutes sniffing perfume (and coffee beans!) I happily decided on Versace’s Bright Crystal. This scent is fresh, clean, floral-y and a little spicy (hey, I couldn’t go cold turkey, lol).

Versace’s new fragrance is nice and light enough to wear in the daytime but sensual enough to hold its own after dark. Bright Crystal has a bunch of floral notes mixed in that you can read about here.

It took me a few trips up and down the fragrance wall to decide on this scent, but I’m glad I finally did. Bright Crystal also comes in a super-portable 1 oz. bottle that I find really visually appealing.

Sadly, nice perfumes aren’t that cheap— this one set my back $45. But, perfume is an investment, so what’s 45 bucks if you smell (and feel) great?!
