Cheap, basic and effective.
Those are the words that come to mind when I think of Johnson’s Clean & Clear Foaming Cleanser for Sensitive Skin.
I like this stuff because it’s simple and works really well. There’s no coloring added and only a slight “soapy” fragrance…
Clean & Clear’s Foaming Cleanser is also really good at taking off makeup. As I mentioned in my review of Clinique’s Naturally Gentle Eye Makeup Remover, I like to mix the two together to gently and effectively remove my eye makeup.
This product is pretty typical of foaming cleansers in that it gets your face “squeaky clean.” My only complaint is that my skin felt dry-ish and tight after I used this stuff. I’d have to rush and put on my moisturizer in order to feel comfortable and hydrated again.
This cleanser is soooo cheap and definitely worth trying! I got mine at Target for like 3 dollars (I love Target, by the way) and it lasted a good while.

Did this bother your skin at all besides the drying? I want to try it for the times I’m at the gym.
Nope. No irritations.
It was completely gentle and normal. Left no residue either.
So, it’s for sure worth a try.
