Remember that Urban Decay makeover I got a few months ago ?

Well, one of the products I purchased to go with my hot new eye shadow was their 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in the Deviant shade of blue.

Eye pencils generally annoy me. The fact that you often have to pull and prod at your eyeball in order to get it on correctly really drives me nuts. But, the 24/7 Glide-On Pencil is actually really scrumptious and easy to apply…

The fancy, moisturizing formula that Urban Decay uses for these pencils is grrrreat! This product applies very smoothly and gently, hence the name “glide-on.” It also has a nice, creamy consistency that is very blendable and eventually sets to stay put all day (or night).

I’m able to easily apply this eyeliner without pulling at my eye area, which is very important to me. I just smooth it on in short, even strokes (usually right above my upper lash line) and it looks perfecto. Also, it layers great on top of any eye shadow you already have on with ease.

The 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil is a waterproof formula, but it’s also not a pain to take off when you are removing your make-up. Don’t ask me how they did it, I just really like the stuff!

Deviant itself is a punchy electric blue with a little bit of shimmer. I really love the unexpectedness that a thin line of any jewel-toned eyeliner on my upper lash line adds, in fact I wore a little bit of Deviant to work today : )

All 12 colors that this pencil comes in are vibrantly pigmented and never washed out or cheap looking. I highly recommend at least going to Sephora to test out the smoothness of this product on the back of your hand.

It is pricey at 16 bucks a pop, but can you really put a price on beauty…?!
