I heart mascara.
I think it’s a great product that really makes a difference when I put it on. So, in line with my personal eyelash obsession, I gave DiorShow mascara by Christian Dior a shot on two separate occasions.
This mascara has received *rave* reviews, my really good friend loves it (hi Nana-lita) and it’s an award-winning best-seller at Sephora, but…it just doesn’t suit my fancy.
The formula of this mascara is on the drier side and I happen to prefer a juicier, moister formula. DiorShow’s aim is to give you thickness, length and tons of volume, which it actually did when I used it. Its wand is big and full, which I think is really great. This would be a good wand if you have really long eyelashes. This mascara also comes in brown, blue (fun!) and black.
I’m pretty sure that I have an allergic reaction to something in this mascara because it makes my eyes feel itchy and tingly when I put it on. I’m randomly allergic to certain things, so who knows if it will clash with you as well. Also, my sense of smell is pretty keen and it doesn’t like the way this mascara smells. I think it smells like chemicals and I would smell it all day when I had it on.
At $23 a tube, DiorShow carries a hefty price tag, but then again my favorite mascara is $22…
I’d be interested in knowing what you guys think about this mascara if you’ve tried it. Leave me a comment and let me know!

I love mascara. What mascara do you recommend? At the moment I’m using Volume Express by Maybelline, but I always have to use 3 coats to get the effect I want.
umm, clearly I LOVE it! i use mavala at night, so i keep my eyelashes well conditioned & am not really affected by the dryness, but seriously . . . 3 items on a deserted island?
this would be one of them!
