Beauty Tidbits: Cleaning Your Makeup Brushes

Forget about fancy makeup brush cleaning solutions!

Baby shampoo is a cheap and gentle answer to the question of keeping your brushes clean and fresh.

The mildness of baby shampoo makes it great for synthetic and natural bristled brushes alike. You only need a small amount to clean each brush, so one bottle will last you forever…

I’ve been using the same bottle of Johnson’s baby shampoo for the past couple years and my brushes are doing great. I’m really big on smells and its fun, peach-y scent adds a pleasant element to a task that I find kind of annoying.

Just lather, rinse, dry and you are good to go!
