A recent addition to the Olay Body line, Quench Body Lotion has become a favorite among several of my girlfriends. The first thing that strikes me about this lotion is it’s sweet yet clean scent. I have a keen sense of smell, so anything that smells great gets points in my book.

At at about $6, this body lotion is affordable and works well. It contains some shea butter, which is a fab moisturizer in almost any form…

Quench’s formula is lighter than I prefer — it’s more liquid-y than creamy. This makes this product a good match for the ‘lotion averse,’ as I like to call those of my friends who tend to skip lotioning up after they shower.

This lotion is creamy white in color and blends well into all skin tones.

Love It Or Hate It – This lotion contains teeny, tiny sparkles of glitter. They’re almost unnoticeable, but they’re there. Ironically, a guy I was dating clued me into this festive aspect of the lotion before I had even tried it for myself. That could be one of the reasons why we’re not dating anymore…but, that’s another entry altogether

So…your feelings towards a subtle shimmer could very well influence your opinion of this product and don’t ask me what Olay was thinking when they made that decision. But, overall, this is a good lotion that will leave you moisturized and smelling clean all day long!
